Core Integrated has carried out projects across 12 prisons, ranging from Young Offenders to Category A facilities. Whilst every site was specified to home office criteria, each was unique, including modern new-build to the stereotypical Victorian institution. The extent of network installation varied significantly by site, such as:
- From modest fibre only works to full turnkey installation
- Supply and install columns, ducting, fibre, cat 5
- Free issue camera, Switches IFS
- Network design configuration and commission
- Associated electrical connections
This has given the integrator a ready-to-commission system. Enhanced SC clearance for our engineers was required for the projects. The number of sites, value and scope of works continues to grow throughout 2017.
