Motorway Works
Infrastructure project in partnership with a main motorway network contractor

The project took place on the M1 motorway in South Yorkshire and comprised the following elements:
- NERTS communications and intelligent infrastructure
- Installing fibre and copper cabling and termination
- Jointing OTDR and ILM testing
- The project resourced 6 in-house engineers
HERS accreditation was undertaken as this was a requirement for the project, an accreditation to which Core Integrated is fully committed in the future. Health and safety considerations were paramount as the works involved working adjacent to live lanes on the carriageway.
Detailed test results were specified as an integral part of the works and these were witness tested by the client. A comprehensive cable and connection design process was also issued by the client for us to comply with, and to be measured against.
