Fibre network system
Core Integrated carried out this project in 2015, working closely with the customer from the outset and designing the system from the client’s brief:
- Provided a fully warrantied, structured, fire rated fibre network
- A + B route dual redundant paths, providing a resilient cable topology
- 28 buildings across the large site were connected with both singlemode and OM3 fibre types
- 6 engineers were contracted for the duration of the project
The network was deployed to provide communications for new critical fire alarm and audio announcement systems, which demanded the robust and careful design considerations. Full and comprehensive test results and as fitted CAD drawings were supplied as part of the handover manual.
