Our in-house civil engineering department can design and install infrastructure for a variety of utilities, and with over 20 years’ management experience we can support a wide variety of projects in locations across the UK.
CIVILS
The civils operation works from our new depot in Lancashire, covering the whole of the UK. We have more than 20 skilled employees with NRSWA accreditation and a wide range of self-owned plant and equipment, including grab lorries and tarmac hotbox. All our vehicles and plant are modern and maintained and provide us with considerable flexibility for all types of operations, and close co-ordination with the network deployment.
Typical civils works include:
- Underground ducting for Telecoms, electrical and other utilities
- Chamber building and construction including to Openreach specifications
- Concrete foundations for street furniture such as cabinets, columns and poles
- Preliminary duties including Site surveys, Permit & Notice administration, Safe dig packs, and traffic management planning.
As well as scheduled works, we can also respond to short notice emergency works, and can liaise with local authority and highways agencies to apply for licenses and opening notices to work in the public highway.
Our experience provides us with the capability for any related construction or excavation applications to suit specific and challenging client requirements.
