James Bailey – Director
Responsible for the day to day running of the company, project management, technical design and quality management. James has worked in fibre and comms since leaving school, starting as apprentice and has 30 years’ experience in the industry. He retains a number of key public sector clients and provides ongoing network development and support for their IT, CCTV and UTC comms requirements.
Damien Lee – Operations Director
Damien is responsible for installation, technical design, project management, health and safety co-ordination, employee training and electrical supervision. Worked in fibre and comms since school, initially starting as an electrical apprentice. With over 25 years in the industry, he recently developed and implemented a bespoke database management system, providing sales, operations, and accounting integration and support.
Darren Smith – Sales Director
Worked in fibre and comms since 1986, as engineer and subsequently as a manager. Prior to working at CIS, Darren was employed as a consultant for AECOM for six years. Responsible for account management, sales and marketing. He works in the network sector, wires and wireless, with major projects in the migration of circuits from leased line to private network.
Matt West – Project Engineer
Matt is responsible for running, installing and commissioning major projects. This includes a major wireless (licensed and unlicensed) network in North Lanarkshire, supporting transmission across the county for circa 1000 cameras, migrating from leased lines. Matt has been with the company since its inception and has steadily built up a wealth of site experience and knowledge of the projects and work areas.
Gary Beaumont – Project Engineer
Gary brings 30 years’ experience to Core Integrated in structured data cabling and testing and electrical works. He is CompEx accredited, 18th edition qualified and specialises in project managing for custodial works, coordinating access and managing the works. Gary is also our NICEIC qualified supervisor.
John Barrass – Civils Operations Manager
With overall responsibility for the Civils Department, John has over 30 years of experience in the civil engineering industry, including plant operator and NRSWA operative; site supervisor working on heavy sewage and drainage systems; and contracts manager in the utilities sector. Accreditations include IOSH Managing Safely, NRSWA Supervisor and CPCS Plant Operators.
Ryan Regan – Civils Site Supervisor
Ryan is the Civils Site Supervisor in charge of TRR teams working on PIA projects. This involves client liaison and management, works planning and site safety. He is the qualified Transport Manager, responsible for the physical and system maintenance all HGV’s within the company fleet. Accreditations include NRSWA Operative, CPC Transport Manager, Class 2 HGV driving license and PIA Trained. and served 12 years in the British Army.
Ryan Williams – PIA Site Supervisor
Ryan is the PIA Site Supervisor in charge of TRR infrastructure teams working on PIA projects. This involves client liaison and management, works planning and site safety. Ryan has over 6 years previous experience supervising network build teams on the Openreach network, his accreditations include NRSWA Supervisor, Class 2 HGV license and PIA Training. Ryan has also a served 4 years in the Armed Forces – 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment during which he took part in a 6 months tour of Afghanistan.
